683 Constables Pass Out From Anantapur Police Training College

As many as 683 newly trained constables are set to join the Andhra Pradesh Police after successfully completing their training at the Police Training College (PTC) in Anantapur.

The SCTPC (Civil) 2025–26 batch passing-out parade was held at the PTC parade ground in Anantapur city on Saturday. State Minister for Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes and Legislative Affairs Payyavula Keshav attended the event as the chief guest and received the ceremonial salute from the newly trained personnel. District Collector O. Anand also participated in the programme.

The passing-out parade marked the completion of training for 683 constables, who are now ready to take up their responsibilities in the police department. The trainees underwent training to prepare them for their duties in maintaining public safety and law and order.

Addressing the new recruits, Minister Payyavula Keshav congratulated them on completing their training and urged them to discharge their duties with dedication and discipline. He advised them to remain accessible to the public and give the highest priority to protecting citizens and maintaining peace and security.

The minister also emphasised the responsibility that comes with joining the police force, particularly in ensuring the safety of people and maintaining law and order.

Police officials, training staff and family members of the newly appointed constables attended the passing-out ceremony.
