Aadi Sai Kumar is back with a new romantic entertainer, Sairabanu, after the success of Shambhala. The film stars Bandhavi Sridhar as the female lead and is directed by debutant Phani Krishna Siriki. Produced by Razesh Danda under Hasya Movies, the film has Krishnakanth Paruchuri as co producer.

The makers unveiled the first look on Independence Day, giving a clear idea about the film’s theme. Aadi is seen riding a Royal Enfield in a white outfit. He sports Vibhuti on his forehead and Rudraksha malas around his neck, giving him a traditional Hindu look.

Bandhavi Sridhar is seated behind him in a black hijab, with her hands on his shoulders. The poster also has a temple on one side and Islamic style buildings on the other. White doves are seen around the couple. The visual strongly hints at a Hindu Muslim love story that brings two different cultures together.

The film is set against the backdrop of Rajahmundry and Hyderabad and is said to mix romance with humour. The makers had earlier described it as a love story that breaks boundaries. Its tagline reads, “A Fun Filled Journey of Love, Faith & Destiny.”

There has been curiosity around the project since its launch in April. The title poster had a dreamy design featuring the Charminar, Vizag beach road and Rajahmundry’s Godavari Bridge. The team also completed its first shooting schedule and later shared a funny behind the scenes video, adding to the buzz.

Sairabanu also has a strong technical team. Raam Reddy is handling cinematography, while Shekar Chandra is composing the music. Chota K Prasad is the editor and Brahma Kadali is the production designer.

With a fresh pairing, a cross-cultural romance and a mix of fun and emotion, Sairabanu is slowly building interest among Telugu cinema fans.
