Aadi Saikumar Unveils Divine Mystery Thriller ‘Aadi Rudrra’

Actor Aadi Saikumar is set to headline Aadi Rudrra, an ambitious pan-India divine mystery thriller produced by Prashanth G Rudrappa under the Trishul Entertainments banner. The film’s title and first-look poster were unveiled on October 20, coinciding with Dussehra.

Written and directed by Navarrasan, the period thriller is set between 1960 and 1990 and explores themes of faith, spirituality, ancient beliefs and supernatural mysteries. The project marks the third production venture of Trishul Entertainments, known for films such as Dandupalya and Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi.

The striking first-look poster presents Aadi in a rugged avatar, wearing a traditional maroon dhoti and holding a trident inside a fiery ritual setting. His character faces an enormous divine figure associated with Lord Shiva/Rudra, featuring a third eye, crescent moon and multiple arms. Villagers carrying flaming torches and ceremonial cattle add to the mystical atmosphere. The actor has reportedly undergone a significant physical transformation for the role.

The technical team includes acclaimed composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath, known for Kantara, Virupaksha and Mangalavaaram, while AJ Shetty will handle cinematography. The film’s soundtrack and background score are expected to complement its spiritual themes and suspense-driven narrative.

The project is planned for a simultaneous release in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, targeting audiences across India. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in January 2027.

The makers have kept the detailed storyline under wraps. Further announcements regarding the female lead and supporting cast are expected in the coming weeks. With its period setting, divine imagery and mystery-driven premise, Aadi Rudrra marks an intriguing new addition to Aadi Saikumar’s filmography.
