Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has embarked on a new chapter in his personal life, marrying longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private and heartfelt ceremony at his Mumbai residence on Sunday. Keeping the celebrations simple and intimate, the couple exchanged vows in the presence of close family members and a select group of friends from the film industry and beyond.

Despite heavy rainfall across Mumbai, the wedding celebrations went ahead as planned. The gathering reflected the couple's preference for privacy, with only close associates attending the ceremony. Among those present were filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker , comedian and actor Vir Das , former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan , industrialist Mukesh Ambani , politician Raj Thackeray , and lyricist Prasoon Joshi .

The wedding marks Aamir Khan's third marriage . The actor was first married to film producer Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. The former couple share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan . In 2005, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao , and although they announced their separation in 2021, the two have continued to co-parent their son Azad while maintaining a cordial relationship.

Aamir had publicly introduced Gauri Spratt to the media in 2025, just before celebrating his 60th birthday. At the time, he revealed that they had already been in a relationship for more than a year. Spratt, who hails from Bengaluru , works in the beauty and wellness industry and has a son from a previous marriage.
