Jaipur is set to witness a political protest on today as the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) prepares to hold a public demonstration at Shaheed Smarak raising a range of issues related to education, unemployment, and governance.

According to party representatives, the protest will also demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan , citing concerns linked to alleged irregularities in the education system and examination processes.

Programme convenor Deepak Balian said the demonstration will highlight issues affecting students, youth, parents, and the general public , including rising unemployment, alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, and concerns related to the functioning of the education sector.

The party stated that the protest is intended to bring attention to what it describes as repeated failures and controversies surrounding competitive examinations and broader public interest concerns. Organisers said the gathering will focus on demanding accountability and reforms in the system.

Several prominent figures are expected to participate in the programme, including party founder Abhijeet Deepke , national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka , education reformer and environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk , along with other social activists and leaders.

The party has also appealed to citizens, students, youth, and parents across Rajasthan to join the protest, stating that it aims to strengthen democratic expression and highlight public concerns on education and employment opportunities.

The demonstration is expected to draw attention to ongoing debates around recruitment transparency and youth welfare, with organisers positioning it as a platform for wider public participation on pressing social issues.
