AICC Has Become an ATM for Telangana Congress: KTR
The war of words between the Congress and the BRS has intensified once again in Telangana politics. BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his visit to Telangana, taking to social media to criticise him.
Alleging that the Congress party has turned Telangana into its own “ATM,” KTR posted on ‘X’ (Twitter), targeting the senior Congress leader.
In his post, KTR wrote: “Hello Rahul Gandhi… Welcome to the ATM of AICC, Telangana. Have you come only to collect the Rs.1,000 crore promised by our CM?” He further questioned whether Gandhi would review the implementation of the six guarantees promised to be fulfilled within 100 days during the elections. He also asked if Gandhi would speak about the progress of the 420 promises made to the people, adding, “Do you have the courage to review them?”
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi arrived in Hyderabad on Monday. He was accompanied by Congress MP K.C. Venugopal . Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy received him at Shamshabad airport. They later proceeded to the Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad district, where Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to participate in the closing ceremony of a training camp for DCC presidents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
