Just when fans thought the countdown had finally begun, Akhil Akkineni’s much-awaited film Lenin appears to have hit another speed bump. The actor’s comeback vehicle, which was scheduled to arrive in theatres on June 26, is reportedly facing yet another postponement, with industry reports suggesting a new release date of July 10, 2026 . The delay is said to be linked to ongoing post-production work , as the makers continue polishing the film ahead of its theatrical debut.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu , Lenin stars Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles and is being billed as a rural action drama with romance and emotional storytelling at its core.
