All Must Work Together for Village Development: MLA Surendra Babu

Kalyandurg MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu called upon villagers to remain united beyond political differences and actively participate in the development of their village.

During his visit to Kamakkapalli village in the mandal on Sunday, the MLA first offered special prayers at the local Anjaneya Swamy temple . Later, along with senior TDP leaders and villagers, he inspected the reconstruction works of a Shiva temple in the village.

Surendra Babu expressed happiness that the temple works, which had remained stalled for several years, were restarted due to the initiative of Viswanath . He also donated ₹5 lakh towards the construction of the temple gopuram.

Addressing villagers at a Rachabanda meeting, the MLA assured them that the government is committed to resolving long-pending issues in the village. He promised that a modern water plant would be constructed within the next one and a half months to address the drinking water problem.

He further said that a team of officials would soon visit the village to improve basic infrastructure such as farm access roads, drainage, and land-related issues . He also stated that house site pattas would soon be granted to eligible poor families.

Speaking on fund allocation for village development, the MLA said that a community hall for women’s self-help groups would be constructed next year through MP funds . He added that proposals have already been sent for the construction of a Vaddera Kalyana Mandapam and a building in Kambadur SC Colony with about ₹60 lakh from MP funds .

He also urged residents to inform him if anyone in the constituency is suffering from serious illness, assuring them that he would help ensure access to better medical treatment. On the occasion, he provided ₹25,000 in immediate financial assistance to Anjinamma of Kamakkapalli , who is suffering from illness.
