Anirudh Ravichander to Join Ram Charan’s RC17? Fans Await Official Confirmation

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander’s possible association with Ram Charan’s upcoming film RC17 has become a major talking point in Tollywood. Fans are eagerly waiting to see whether the composer will reveal any details about the project during the Telugu pre-release event of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 on Monday.

Directed by Sukumar, RC17 reunites Ram Charan and the filmmaker after their successful collaboration on Rangasthalam (2018). The upcoming film has generated considerable interest, with discussions surrounding its music director becoming a major talking point.

According to recent reports, Anirudh is being considered for the music composer’s position, although his appointment has not been officially confirmed. Shashwat Sachdev, known for his work on Dhurandhar, has also reportedly been in discussions with Sukumar. Earlier reports had mentioned Sai Abhyankkar and Devi Sri Prasad in connection with the project.

Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad have shared a long-standing professional association dating back to Arya (2004). The duo collaborated on several successful films, including 100% Love, Nannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam and the Pushpa franchise. A possible change in composer would therefore mark a significant development for the director’s upcoming project.

If Anirudh joins RC17, it would mark his next collaboration with a Mega hero after Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi, released in 2018. The composer’s soundtrack for that film continues to enjoy popularity among Telugu audiences.

Meanwhile, RC17 is reportedly scheduled for a formal launch on October 20 in Hyderabad. Mythri Movie Makers is backing the project, with Sukumar Writings also associated with its production. Details about the remaining cast and technical crew are yet to be officially announced.

Anirudh is expected to perform live at the Jailer 2 Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday. With speculation surrounding RC17 continuing to grow, fans are hoping for clarity. Until the filmmakers make an official announcement, however, his involvement remains unconfirmed.
