AP Government Moves to End Long-Pending House Site Disputes
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to expedite the Housing Regularisation process for long-pending House Sites and residential properties across the state, calling for a swift resolution of all pending cases .
Reviewing the performance of various departments at the RTGS centre, the Chief Minister instructed authorities to prepare district-wise lists of properties awaiting regularisation. Cases that can be resolved locally should be cleared immediately, while unresolved matters should be referred to the State Cabinet for a final decision.
Naidu also asked officials to gather the necessary data from District Collectors and place dispute-free proposals before the Cabinet for approval on a regular basis. In addition, the Housing Department and Finance Department have been directed to work in close coordination to clear pending housing-related bills without delay.
The Chief Minister also ordered a stricter crackdown on Illegal Sand Transport , particularly the unauthorized movement of sand to neighbouring states. Vehicles found violating regulations are to be seized immediately, he said.
To strengthen enforcement, Naidu called for wider use of technology, including GPS Tracking and an Instant Alert System to detect suspicious vehicle movements. He noted that nearly 50,000 vehicles involved in sand transportation are already being monitored through GPS and stressed the need for close coordination between the mining and police departments.
He further urged government departments to effectively communicate welfare and development initiatives to the public, saying greater awareness of government services would improve citizen satisfaction and enhance service delivery across the state.
