AP Minority Morcha Chief Syed Basha Dismisses Rahul Gandhi’s Allegations Against Modi as Political
A fresh political flashpoint erupted after Rahul Gandhi launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament, prompting a sharp rebuttal from the BJP’s Minority Morcha in Andhra Pradesh.
Reacting strongly, Syed Basha , State President of the AP Minority Morcha , accused the Congress leader of indulging in reckless rhetoric and lowering the dignity of Parliament. He asserted that Prime Minister Modi has strengthened India’s global standing through assertive diplomacy and strategic international partnerships over the past decade.
Basha contrasted the Modi government’s foreign outreach with what he described as Congress’ questionable legacy in handling national interests during its long tenure in power. He argued that under Modi’s leadership, India has expanded its trade footprint, improved bilateral ties, and earned respect on global platforms. He dismissed Rahul’s allegations as politically motivated.
The counterattack followed Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha, where he raised concerns over the India–US trade negotiations , alleged pressure surrounding nuclear agreements, and questioned the Centre’s silence on the Adani controversy . He also referred to the so-called Epstein files , claiming that names of senior figures had surfaced and demanding accountability.
Rahul further criticised the government’s approach to data security , farmers’ welfare , and defence policy , suggesting that key decisions were being influenced by undisclosed pressures, a charge the BJP leader rejected outright.
As both sides trade accusations, the debate has intensified over foreign policy, trade transparency, and governance setting the stage for yet another heated political showdown.
