A private school in Armoor , located in Telangana's Nizamabad district , has come under official scrutiny following allegations that students were being taught Urdu without obtaining the necessary government approvals. The controversy has triggered protests, a multi-department inquiry, and the registration of separate police cases against both school officials and protesters.

The issue surfaced after videos circulated on social media purportedly showing primary school students claiming that they were being taught Urdu regularly and were required to maintain notes in the language. The allegations quickly drew the attention of local residents, political activists, and government authorities, turning the matter into a contentious public issue.

Following complaints, officials from the Police Department , Revenue Department , and Education Department conducted a joint inspection of the school campus. Preliminary findings reportedly indicated that Urdu classes were being conducted for younger students without prior authorization from the competent authorities.

Based on a complaint filed by Tahsildar Satyanarayana , police registered a case against the school's correspondent, principal, and the teacher concerned. Authorities alleged that Urdu instruction was being imparted outside the approved curriculum framework and are also examining claims that students were being introduced to religious practices. The Education Department has launched an internal inquiry to determine whether any educational norms or recognition conditions were violated.

The controversy also sparked protests by members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and various Hindu organizations. Demonstrators gathered outside the school, demanding action against the management. However, the agitation itself has come under investigation after the school management accused some protesters of forcibly entering the campus and assaulting staff members.

Acting on a complaint from the school's correspondent, police registered a separate case against several activists allegedly involved in the confrontation. Videos of heated exchanges and physical altercations between protesters and school employees have since gone viral online.

The campus houses two educational institutions — Bhavishya Darsini School , which caters to Classes 1 to 7, and Bharat Chandra School , which offers education from Classes 8 to 10. Officials said the ongoing inquiry will establish whether regulatory violations occurred and what further action, if any, should be taken.

The incident has reignited discussions on curriculum compliance , language instruction policies , and the need for educational institutions to adhere strictly to government regulations while maintaining a conducive academic environment.
