Atmakur All Set for ‘Akhanda Abhivruddhi Jatara’: Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy

All arrangements have been completed for the ‘Akhanda Abhivruddhi Jatara’ to be held in the Atmakur Assembly constituency of Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district on Monday, Minister for Endowments Anam Ramnarayana Reddy said.

The minister inspected the arrangements and said inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies for various development works worth Rs 53.25 crore would be held at the municipal office premises.

According to the minister, completed projects worth around Rs 10 crore will be inaugurated, while foundation stones will be laid for new works estimated at Rs 35 crore. Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana, Housing and I&PR Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, and district in-charge minister N.M.D. Farooq are expected to participate in the programme.

As part of the day’s events, a Maha Kumbhabhishekam will be performed at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in the Atmakur TIDCO Colony. The temple was constructed at a cost of Rs 75 lakh with support from CGF funds and contributions from donors.

Following the religious ceremony, a large bike rally will be organised under the banner of the NDA alliance. The minister also said cheques worth Rs 1.46 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund would be distributed to 185 families.

The minister also outlined a series of upcoming development programmes for the constituency. On September 22, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to virtually lay the foundation for urban infrastructure works worth Rs 29 crore sanctioned for Atmakur from Kuppam.

Another major programme is planned in the Udayagiri constituency on September 24, where Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are expected to launch employment guarantee scheme works worth Rs 10,000 crore.

Anam Ramnarayana Reddy called upon elected representatives, officials and NDA alliance leaders to work in coordination to ensure the successful implementation of the development programmes planned for Atmakur.
