'Baby Do Die Do' OTT Release: Huma Qureshi’s Silent Assassin Arrives On Netflix

Huma Qureshi’s crime action thriller 'Baby Do Die Do' has finally made its digital debut on Netflix. The film, which released theatrically on July 3, 2026, began streaming on September 23, nearly 12 weeks after its theatrical release. The Hindi-language neo-noir thriller is now available on Netflix in its original Hindi version.

Directed by Nachiket Samant, 'Baby Do Die Do' stars Huma Qureshi as Baby Karmarkar, a deaf and nonverbal contract killer operating in Mumbai’s criminal underworld. Baby embarks on a dangerous journey after her sister is murdered and spends years hunting down those responsible. However, a botched hit sets off a chain of events that brings criminals and the police closer to her.

The film’s story was written by Parveez Shaikh and Jasmeet K. Reen, while Samant co-wrote the screenplay and dialogues with Gaurav Sharma. The ensemble cast includes Sikander Kher, Chunky Panday, Seema Pahwa, Rachit Singh, Vidya Malavade, Himanshu Malik, Marudhar Shekhawat and Arun Kushwah.

Produced by Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem under the Saleem Siblings banner, in association with Pune-04 Pictures, the film combines crime, mystery, action and dark humour. Netflix describes it as the story of a woman leading a double life as a contract killer while searching for her sister’s murderer, with a botched assignment threatening her mission.

At 2 hours and 5 minutes, the film has a compact runtime and follows an old-school revenge thriller format. Reviews released during its theatrical run highlighted its pulpy storytelling, Mumbai setting and Huma Qureshi’s performance, particularly the way she plays the character through expressions, body language and limited verbal communication.
