Beauty, Brains, and Box Office: Sreeleela officially gets her MBBS

Actress Sreeleela , who rose to fame with her viral dance number Kissik in Pushpa 2, has officially earned her MBBS degree after six years of rigorous study. The 24-year-old successfully balanced her medical education at DY Patil University, Mumbai , alongside her flourishing acting career. Pictures and videos of her graduation have gone viral, with fans and well-wishers flooding social media with messages of admiration.

Born in 2001 to a Telugu family in Detroit, USA , Sreeleela was raised in Bengaluru , where her mother, Swarnalatha , is a practising gynaecologist. She made her acting debut in the 2017 Telugu film Chitrangada, playing the younger version of Sindhu Tolani’s character, and her first lead role came in the 2019 Kannada film Kiss. She also appeared in Bharate the same year, gradually making her mark in South Indian cinema.

Sreeleela has a busy slate ahead. She will star in Ustaad Bhagat Singh alongside Pawan Kalyan in Telugu and make her Bollywood debut with Kartik Aaryan . Her Tamil film Parashakthi , directed by Sudha Kongara and featuring Sivakarthikeyan , hit theatres on January 10, 2026 .
