Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to speed up preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, emphasising the need to ensure that the international event strengthens the state’s position as a leading investment destination. He issued the instructions during a high-level review meeting and called for the successful organisation of the summit’s curtain-raiser event scheduled to be held in New Delhi.

The three-day summit, scheduled from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City, is expected to bring together prominent business leaders, corporate executives and representatives from different countries and states. The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the major arrangements by the first week of November, ensuring seamless participation for delegates. He also stressed the importance of preparing a clear roadmap for investor interactions so that discussions with industrialists and business representatives translate into meaningful opportunities for Telangana.

Revanth Reddy called for a focused approach to attracting investments through engagements with prospective investors and business leaders during Raksha Expo and India Joy. He asked officials to identify opportunities that could benefit the state and strengthen its industrial and economic prospects. The summit should also draw international experts and prominent personalities working in climate change and artificial intelligence (AI), helping position Telangana as a destination for emerging technologies and global collaboration.

The Chief Minister underlined the need for an extensive promotional campaign across Hyderabad to showcase the state’s achievements in technology, pharmaceuticals and aerospace. Officials also discussed using drones to promote the summit at various locations across the city, as part of efforts to increase visibility and generate interest ahead of the event.

Alongside investment promotion, the government plans to give prominence to Telangana’s cultural identity. Officials briefed the Chief Minister on arrangements for the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) sector. He called for cultural programmes that capture the spirit of the Bathukamma festival, one of the state’s most distinctive traditions.

Revanth Reddy further directed officials to reflect Telangana’s historical legacy in the summit venue’s design. Architectural elements inspired by the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam and Ramappa Temple should feature prominently, showcasing the state’s artistic heritage. The broader objective is to present Telangana to the global audience as a state combining investment potential, technological advancement and cultural richness.
