Big Relief for Khan Sir: Patna Court Extends No Arrest Order Till June 30
A Patna court on Saturday extended the interim protection from arrest granted to educator Faisal Khan , popularly known as Khan Sir , until June 30 , in connection with the coaching institute firing case . The matter has now been listed for final arguments on June 30 , after the court reviewed an updated case diary submitted by the investigating officer.
The case is linked to an incident in early June 2026 , when Khan Sir’s coaching institute was allegedly vandalised by a group of miscreants, following which his security guards are accused of opening fire during the disturbance. Khan Sir was subsequently named in the FIR , and the court had first granted him protection from arrest on June 9 , directing that no coercive action be taken against him during the ongoing investigation.
During the latest hearing, the investigating agency submitted a revised case diary , after which the court deferred detailed arguments and extended the existing protection until the next hearing. According to multiple reports, the court has also directed that the “no coercive action” order will remain in force until June 30, ensuring that no arrest or strict enforcement action can be taken in the interim.
Khan Sir’s counsel, Arvind Kumar Mouar , said the matter has been listed for arguments on Tuesday and confirmed that the case involving the security guards linked to the same incident will also be heard on the same date. He added that Khan Sir is cooperating with the police and investigating officers throughout the probe.
Recent media coverage further indicates that the court has been consistently extending short-term relief while seeking deeper examination of the case diary and evidence , as the investigation continues into the circumstances surrounding the firing incident and alleged coaching institute rivalry in Patna.
