Bigg Boss 10 Telugu: Nagarjuna’s Salary Compared With Salman, Ganguly And Others

Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has made a grand beginning, with Akkineni Nagarjuna returning as host for the seventh consecutive season. The milestone season premiered on September 6, with 16 contestants entering the house. The lineup includes 10 celebrities and six contestants who came through the ‘Agnipariksha’ route.

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the new season is Nagarjuna’s remuneration. According to multiple media reports, the actor is reportedly earning around Rs 40 crore for Bigg Boss Telugu 10.

Nagarjuna’s reported paycheck becomes even more interesting when compared with other hosts of the franchise. Riteish Deshmukh, who hosts Bigg Boss Marathi, has reportedly earned around ₹12 crore for a season. Kiccha Sudeepa, the longtime face of Bigg Boss Kannada, has been reported to command around ₹20 crore for a season, while Mohanlal’s reported remuneration for Bigg Boss Malayalam has been around ₹30 crore. These figures are media estimates and can vary depending on the season and deal structure.

Vijay Sethupathi is among the highest-paid regional hosts, with reports placing his Bigg Boss Tamil remuneration in the ₹70-80 crore range. Sourav Ganguly’s reported Bigg Boss Bangla package is even larger, with recent reports putting it at around ₹125 crore or more.

At the top of the franchise is Salman Khan, whose remuneration for Bigg Boss Hindi has varied significantly over the years. Reports for the current season put his fee at around ₹200 crore, while earlier seasons were reported to have commanded much higher figures, including around ₹200 crore for one season and up to ₹250 crore for another.

Meanwhile, the celebrity lineup of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has received a mixed response. Auto Ram Prasad, Thrigun and Temper Vamsi are among the familiar faces, but some viewers feel the season lacks bigger, more widely recognised celebrities compared with previous editions.

Nagarjuna also faces the challenge of winning back viewers after criticism during the previous season, when sections of the audience felt his weekend hosting lacked energy. With the new contestants now settling into the house, the coming weeks will determine whether Bigg Boss Telugu 10 can overcome the initial criticism and deliver the drama and entertainment viewers expect.
