BJP Chief Nitin Nabin Reaches Out to Students, Tribals During Telangana Visit
BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Monday said India’s youth are emerging as the driving force behind the country’s economic and social transformation, asserting that the “real Gen Z” generation is focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and nation-building rather than divisive ideologies.
Addressing students at an engineering college on the outskirts of Hyderabad during his three-day visit to Telangana, Nabin said the aspirations of young Indians are closely linked to the country’s development journey. He noted that today’s youth are creating startups, generating employment and contributing to India’s rise as a global economic power.
Later, travelling through Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri to Warangal , the BJP leader participated in a special conference with members of the tribal community and interacted with sportspersons, entrepreneurs and young achievers.
Speaking at the event, Nabin praised startup founders and innovators who are creating opportunities and strengthening the economy. He said such individuals represent the true spirit of Gen Z , adding that India’s young generation is playing a pivotal role in shaping the country’s future. While criticism of governments is a legitimate aspect of democracy, he said it should be expressed through constitutional and democratic means.
The BJP chief also cautioned against attempts to mislead youth through narratives that promote social division. According to him, India’s younger generation is committed to progress, development and national unity. Referring to Jammu and Kashmir , he said the region’s youth have increasingly embraced education and sports, citing their achievements in national competitions as an example of changing aspirations under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi .
At a public meeting in Warangal, Nabin expressed confidence that the BJP would form a “double-engine government” in Telangana in the future. He urged party workers and booth-level leaders to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and expand the party’s reach across the state.
Recalling the contribution of former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj to the Telangana statehood movement, he accused the ruling Congress government of failing to fulfil several promises made to the people. He also highlighted the Modi government’s decision to confer the Bharat Ratna on former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao , describing it as a tribute to one of Telangana’s most distinguished leaders.
Addressing the tribal gathering, Nabin lauded President Droupadi Murmu , saying her rise from a tribal background to the nation’s highest constitutional office symbolises empowerment, dignity and equal opportunity. He also paid tribute to tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda and reiterated the Centre’s commitment to tribal welfare and inclusive development.
During the visit, Nabin inaugurated new BJP district offices in several parts of Telangana and offered prayers at the historic Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal, reaffirming the party’s commitment to preserving India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
