Megastar Chiranjeevi has extended financial assistance to actor Ramesh, best known for his role in Gabbar Singh, after the latter suffered a brain stroke and was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. According to reports, Chiranjeevi personally contacted the doctors treating Ramesh to enquire about his condition and requested that the actor receive the best possible medical care. He later handed over a cheque of Rs. 3 lakh to Ramesh's wife and assured the family that he would help them secure benefits under the state's health insurance scheme to reduce the financial burden of treatment.
