CM Chandrababu Naidu, Baba Ramdev Highlight Yoga’s Global Impact at Undavalli Caves

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu joined renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev for a special yoga session at the historic Undavalli Caves near Amaravati on Saturday, ahead of the International Day of Yoga .

The event was held amidst the scenic surroundings of the nearly 1,600-year-old rock-cut caves , highlighting the connection between India’s cultural heritage and wellness traditions. The Chief Minister participated in the programme and observed a series of yoga demonstrations led by Baba Ramdev.

During the session, the yoga guru showcased several advanced yoga postures and demonstrated power yoga techniques . He also explained the significance of various practices and their role in promoting physical and mental well-being .

Praising Chandrababu Naidu, Baba Ramdev described him as a visionary leader committed to development and progress. He said the Chief Minister was making significant contributions towards the realisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India .

Addressing the gathering, Chandrababu Naidu expressed gratitude to Baba Ramdev for popularising yoga among the masses . Drawing a comparison between their respective fields of work, he said that while he had spent the last three decades promoting technology and innovation , Baba Ramdev had played a similar role in expanding the reach of yoga.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of responsible use of technology and said spiritual practices such as yoga could help individuals maintain balance in an increasingly digital world. He noted that technology should be embraced without becoming dependent on it.

Highlighting yoga’s growing global acceptance, Chandrababu Naidu credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing international recognition for yoga . He said the observance of International Day of Yoga by around 190 countries reflected its universal appeal and contribution to human well-being.

The Chief Minister also called upon citizens to support efforts aimed at building a developed India , emphasising the role of spirituality, discipline and healthy living in achieving national progress.
