
CM Chandrababu Naidu Embarks On Singapore Visit To Secure Global Investments For AP
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a two-day visit to Singapore from Sunday, with a focused agenda on attracting international investments , strengthening strategic partnerships, and accelerating key infrastructure and development projects in the state, particularly around Amaravati.
Naidu will depart from Bengaluru at 11:35 am and is scheduled to engage in a series of high-level meetings on June 15 and 16. The visit is expected to centre on urban development, innovation ecosystems, and global investment collaboration.
On arrival, he will meet India’s High Commissioner to Singapore Shilpak Ambule, followed by a roundtable with startup founders and venture capital investors , highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s push to position itself as a startup-friendly destination.
He will also hold discussions with Anacláudia Rossbach and later interact with Singapore Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling.
A series of key bilateral and industry meetings are lined up with global leaders, including Karan Bajwa, Lim Siong Guan, Robert Yap, and Tan Eng Chye, focusing on technology partnerships, investment inflows, and higher education collaboration .
A significant highlight of the visit will be Naidu’s meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, where both sides will review bilateral cooperation across infrastructure, trade, and innovation sectors . He will also engage with Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Home Minister K. Shanmugam, and Manpower Minister Tan See Leng.
Naidu will further interact with the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry to discuss investment facilitation strategies.
On June 16, he will inaugurate the “CBN@361” programme , attend an APAC semiconductor roundtable, and participate in a review meeting on the Surbana Jurong-Amaravati master planning framework . He will also address the leadership plenary at the World Cities Summit and visit major exhibition zones including the Singapore Pavilion, Innovators’ Alley, and Google technology showcases.
The visit will conclude with additional business engagements before Naidu returns to India on the night of June 16, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s effort to emerge as a global investment destination .
