CM Chandrababu Orders Action Plan for House Pattas, Regularisation Within 10 Days

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to ensure that every eligible family in the state receives either a house or a house-site patta, setting clear timelines for land allocation, regularisation and housing construction. Reviewing these issues at the 8th District Collectors’ Conference in Amaravati, he asked officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan within 10 days and closely monitor progress at every stage.

Officials informed the Chief Minister that 1.43 lakh people have been identified as eligible for house-site pattas, while another 1.26 lakh applications are under scrutiny. The verification process is expected to be completed by October 15. Land has already been identified in 1,692 villages to provide house sites to around 18,000 beneficiaries. Naidu directed the administration to complete patta distribution within a year and prepare a clear list of new beneficiaries as well as pattas that need regularisation.

The Chief Minister also reviewed housing construction, with officials reporting that 5.92 lakh houses have been completed and another 5.32 lakh are under construction. He directed authorities to complete all ongoing houses by March next year and hand them over to beneficiaries without delay.

Emphasising new-age governance, Naidu urged collectors to make greater use of technology, online files, data lakes and AI-based analysis to improve decision-making. He said administrators must continuously upgrade their skills and focus on measurable outcomes while responding to changing public expectations.

Naidu also stressed the need to accelerate the grounding of approved investments. Of 359 projects cleared by the State Investment Promotion Board, 160 have already commenced, involving investments of ₹4.03 lakh crore and the potential to create 5.9 lakh jobs. Regional investment conferences are planned in October, ahead of the 2026 Partnership Summit in November.

The government is also focusing on MSMEs, with 23.85 lakh enterprises operating across manufacturing, services and trade. Of 175 proposed MSME parks, 138 have received approval, with 22 already operational.

On economic growth, Naidu asked collectors to unlock district-level resources and strengthen local economic activity. The state has projected a 13.44% growth rate for 2026-27 at current prices, while agriculture and allied sectors, industry and services recorded strong growth in the first quarter.

The Chief Minister further called for better infrastructure, including notified helipads linked to tourism, night-landing facilities at district headquarters and action plans for ROBs and RUBs. He said technology-driven, transparent administration would be crucial to achieving the Swarna Andhra vision.
