Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged the Yadav community to actively participate in the Telangana government's vision of transforming Hyderabad into a global city, highlighting its contribution to the city's growth and social harmony. He said major infrastructure projects, including the Musi River rejuvenation, Metro Rail expansion, Regional Ring Road (RRR) and Bharat Future City, would help position Hyderabad as a model city in the country. Addressing the Sri Krishna Sadar Sammelan at NTR Stadium, the Chief Minister extended festive greetings to the community and sought its continued support for the city's development.

Praising the Yadav community's role in welcoming people from different parts of the country, Revanth Reddy said its members had contributed significantly to maintaining Hyderabad's social harmony and law and order. He called upon them to work towards strengthening the city's national and international reputation. He also assured the community that his government would protect its rights, dignity and self-respect.

The Chief Minister recalled that the previous government had not officially recognised the Sadar Sammelan. His government, responding to the community's demand, granted it State festival status soon after assuming office and released Rs 5 crore for organising the celebrations.

Highlighting social justice measures, Revanth Reddy said Telangana's caste census had set an example for the country by seeking equitable representation based on population. He also cited the appointment of Eshwaramma Yadav to the Yadagirigutta temple governing body and the responsibility entrusted to her for managing its goshala.

Tejashwi Yadav, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, and representatives from several states attended the celebrations. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MPs Anil Kumar Yadav, Mallu Ravi and Dharmendra Yadav, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, former Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav were among those present.

In a separate review meeting at MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion, Revanth Reddy directed officials to collect students' opinions on the colours and designs of uniforms supplied to government schools, residential institutions and welfare hostels. Officials said distribution of uniforms, shoes, bags, identity cards and other essential materials was nearing completion, with supplies reaching around 95 per cent in some institutions.

The Chief Minister ordered officials to complete pending distribution and prepare a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the next academic year. He stressed that every student must receive uniforms and essential materials on the first day of school, requiring departments to plan procurement and distribution well in advance.
