Cockroach and Virus Gang: Nitin Nabin Makes Big Remark on India Gen Z, Calls Rahul Gandhi 'Part-Time Politician'

If conviction were measured in working hours, BJP national president Nitin Nabin would have you believe Congress scion Rahul Gandhi clocks in somewhere between a part time intern and a ceremonial mascot. Addressing booth presidents in Warangal on Monday, Nabin declared Gandhi a "part time politician," insisting it is the humble BJP karyakarta, supposedly toiling 24x7 with monk-like devotion, who actually keeps the wheels of democracy turning. "They always think about their family," he sniped, a line clearly meant to needle the Gandhi household more than enlighten the audience.

Not content with one target, Nabin reserved his choicest venom for the upstart Cockroach Janta Party , founded by Abhijeet Dipke, dubbing such outfits a "virus and cockroach" gang allegedly scheming to fracture the nation. The metaphor, equal parts pest control and political theatre, was meant to paint smaller challengers as parasites rather than legitimate competitors, a rhetorical flourish that says more about insecurity than ideology.

Nabin's Telangana tour, which also included a stop at the Viksit Bharat Student Conclave in Ghatkesar, doubled as an extended grievance session against Congress. He accused the state government of working only for "Delhi leaders," conveniently ignoring that his own party's central command operates from the very same city. He revived the old chestnut about Congress denying PV Narasimha Rao his due respect, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for eventually awarding him the Bharat Ratna, a gesture critics might call decades late and politically timed.

The charge sheet against Congress grew longer still. Nabin claimed the party promised two lakh jobs in Telangana but instead turned the state into little more than an ATM for Delhi leadership , a quip dripping with sarcasm even if light on specifics. He repeated BJP's familiar refrain that Congress operates on a "promise and forget" model, while conveniently glossing over his own party's track record on delivered guarantees.

Nabin also invoked late leader Sushma Swaraj's role in the Telangana statehood movement and reminded listeners that the state handed BJP its first MP back in 1984, a factoid he wielded like a loyalty card nobody asked to see. He expressed confidence BJP would form a double engine government by 2028, alongside pledges on tackling Naxalism and developing tribal regions, name checking the election of a tribal woman President as a moment of national pride.

Switching tone for students at the conclave, Nabin pushed back on narratives branding Indian Gen Z as anti establishment, insisting the country's youth, unlike counterparts in neighbouring nations, are nation builders rather than agitators, pointing to sportspersons and startup founders in attendance as proof.

He rounded off by accusing Congress of embarrassing India on global platforms including the AI Summit, while touting Modi government's free COVID vaccine rollout as evidence of governance over grandstanding, conveniently skipping any mention of the criticism that rollout itself once faced.
