'Dhee 21' On Netflix: ETV’s Popular Telugu Dance Show To Reach Wider Audience

'Dhee 21' is heading to Netflix, marking a major digital expansion for ETV Telugu’s popular dance reality show. The new season will be available to audiences beyond the traditional Telugu television market.

Backed by Mallemaala Entertainments, 'Dhee' is among the longest running and most popular dance reality shows on Telugu television. The franchise premiered on ETV Telugu in 2009 and has completed 20 seasons over nearly two decades.

The newly released poster confirms that 'Dhee 21', produced by ETV Win, will stream on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The multilingual release is expected to take the popular Telugu television franchise to a much wider audience across India.

'Dhee' has built a strong following with its combination of dance competitions, entertainment, celebrity appearances and choreography. Contestants compete through different dance performances, while celebrity judges and choreographers evaluate their acts.

Over the years, several well known names from the entertainment industry have been associated with the show, including Prabhu Deva, Rambha, Priyamani, Sekhar Master, Anee Master, Poorna, Sada, Pradeep Machiraju and Sudigali Sudheer.

The show's long television run has helped establish 'Dhee' as a major dance reality franchise in Telugu entertainment. Its move to Netflix represents a significant step towards reaching viewers who may not have previously followed the ETV Telugu programme.

The upcoming season could also introduce the format and its contestants to audiences in other Indian language markets, particularly with the availability of multiple dubbed language versions.
