Dhruva Sarja and Nabha Natesh Team Up for New Film ‘Chemistry’

Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja and actress Nabha Natesh have teamed up for a new film titled ‘Chemistry’, which was officially announced on October 6, coinciding with Dhruva’s birthday. Directed by Vishal Atreya and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film promises to present the Action Prince in a different avatar.

The makers unveiled a 73-second announcement video that gives audiences a glimpse of the film’s romantic and emotional world. The promo features Dhruva and Nabha in dreamy, rain-soaked visuals, with the two sharing the screen under a rainbow umbrella. The production house described the project as having “a little charm, a little magic, and a whole lot of chemistry,” setting the tone for the film.

The announcement also hints at a noticeable change in Dhruva Sarja’s on-screen image. Known largely for intense and action-oriented roles, the actor appears to be exploring a softer and more romantic side in ‘Chemistry’. The promo suggests that love, emotions, attraction and relationship dynamics could play a key role, although the makers have not revealed the complete storyline yet.

The project is particularly significant for Nabha Natesh, as it marks her return to Kannada cinema after several years. She made her Kannada debut with the 2015 film ‘Vajrakaya’, starring opposite Shivarajkumar, and later appeared in ‘Lee’. She subsequently moved to Telugu cinema and gained wider recognition with films including ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ and Puri Jagannadh’s ‘iSmart Shankar’. ‘Chemistry’ marks her first pairing with Dhruva Sarja.

For Vishal Atreya, the film follows his acclaimed directorial debut ‘Tatsama Tadbhava’. His collaboration with Dhruva is expected to explore a considerably different space from the actor’s previous action-heavy outings. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast, technical crew, shooting schedule and release date.

With a fresh lead pair and Dhruva Sarja stepping into a romantic space, ‘Chemistry’ has already generated curiosity among Kannada cinema audiences.
