'Dhurandhar' Fame Shashwat Sachdev In Talks For NTR’s 'Dragon'?

'Dhurandhar' fame Shashwat Sachdev is reportedly in talks to compose a few songs for NTR and Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film 'Dragon', sparking curiosity among fans about the music of the highly anticipated action entertainer. However, an official confirmation regarding his involvement is still awaited.

Interestingly, Ravi Basrur is already associated with 'Dragon' as its original music composer. According to recent reports, Sachdev could join the project to compose select songs, potentially bringing a different musical flavour to the film. If the collaboration materialises, it could see two composers contributing to different aspects of the soundtrack.

Sachdev has been attracting considerable attention following the success of Aditya Dhar’s 'Dhurandhar' and its sequel, 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge'. His ability to blend contemporary sounds with traditional musical influences has helped him establish a distinct identity in the Indian film industry. His reported association with NTR’s film has now added another talking point to the project.

The composer is no newcomer to acclaimed film music. He received the National Film Award for Best Background Music for 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for songs for 'Article 370'. His subsequent work on 'Dhurandhar' further strengthened his position in the industry.

Meanwhile, 'Dragon' marks another major collaboration between NTR and director Prashanth Neel. The film has generated significant interest among fans, who are eager to see the combination deliver an action-packed cinematic experience. Ravi Basrur’s association with Neel, particularly through the 'KGF' franchise and 'Salaar', has also raised expectations surrounding the film’s background score.

Sachdev is also expanding his presence in Telugu cinema through Nikhil Siddhartha’s 'The India House', which is backed by Ram Charan’s V Mega Pictures in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

For now, the reported discussions surrounding 'Dragon' remain unconfirmed. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement to learn whether Sachdev will join Basrur on the project and what musical surprises the team has planned.
