Diksha Dagar Retains Top-10 LET Merit Spot Despite Missing AIG Women’s Open Cut
Diksha Dagar continues to be India's highest-ranked golfer on the Ladies European Tour (LET) despite missing the cut at the AIG Women's Open, holding on to her place among the Tour's top performers ahead of this week's PIF London Championship.
The two-time LET winner is currently sixth on the LET Order of Merit and eighth in the Race to Costa del Sol standings, highlighting the consistency she has displayed throughout the 2026 season. Her campaign has featured several strong performances, including multiple top-10 finishes, keeping her firmly in contention among the Tour's leading players.
Diksha will once again spearhead India's challenge as the LET resumes at Centurion Club later this week. A strong performance at the PIF London Championship could help her consolidate her position inside the top 10 of the Order of Merit while boosting her hopes of securing one of the best season-ending finishes of her career.
India will have a strong five-player representation at the tournament. Avani Prashanth, enjoying an encouraging rookie season on the LET, is currently 45th on the Order of Merit. Pranavi Urs, another Hero-supported golfer, follows closely in 48th, while five-time LET winner Aditi Ashok occupies 58th after a mixed campaign this season.
Meanwhile, Hitaashee Bakshi continues to gain valuable experience during her first full LET season and is placed 127th in the standings.
At the top of the season-long rankings, South Africa's Casandra Alexander leads the Race to Costa del Sol, while Singapore's Shannon Tan, the 2025 LET Order of Merit champion, is also expected to be among the contenders for the title.
With valuable Race to Costa del Sol points on offer, the PIF London Championship assumes added significance as the battle for the season-long honours enters its decisive phase. Among the Indian contingent, all eyes will once again be on Diksha Dagar as she looks to continue leading the country's charge on the Ladies European Tour.
