Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Sequel ENE Repeat Release Date Locked For November 19

Eight years after Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (ENE) became a cult favourite among Telugu audiences, director Tharun Bhascker and actor Vishwak Sen are returning with its official sequel titled ENE Repeat (ENE 2) . On the occasion of the original film’s anniversary, the makers unveiled a special glimpse video announcing the film’s theatrical release date, reigniting nostalgia among fans of the iconic “Kanyarasi gang”.

The film is now confirmed to release in theatres on November 19, 2026 , with the announcement strategically timed to celebrate eight years of the original 2018 buddy comedy that went on to achieve cult status despite a modest box office run initially before gaining popularity through re-releases and streaming.

The sequel brings back Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, Srinath Maganti, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Anisha Ambrose, and Shivathmika Rajashekar in key roles. However, one of the most notable changes is the replacement of Sai Sushanth Reddy , who played the character Karthik in the original film. He has opted out of the project due to personal reasons, and Srinath Maganti steps into the role, a change that has sparked strong discussions among fans online.

Director Tharun Bhascker had earlier spoken about the emotional impact of the casting shift, expressing disappointment over Sushanth’s exit and admitting that the original team reunion was incomplete without him. Reports also suggest that the sequel’s announcement initially included his name before his final decision to step away from acting projects altogether.

According to production updates, ENE Repeat is produced under S Originals and Rootnode Cinema , with Suresh Productions also associated with the project. Music is once again composed by Vivek Sagar , preserving the musical identity that played a major role in the first film’s cult appeal.

Industry reports further suggest that the sequel expands its setting beyond Hyderabad, with portions reportedly shot in international locations, including Thailand and the United States backdrop storyline , as the narrative follows the group’s long-postponed dream of travelling abroad finally taking shape.
