Fauzi Teaser on Prabhas’ Birthday? Here’s What Fans Are Expecting

Prabhas’ much-awaited period action drama ‘Fauzi’, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, has become the centre of fresh speculation as fans await a major update from the makers. The film, which was earlier scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 3, 2026, has now been postponed, with the new release date yet to be announced. The movie is expected to arrive in 2027.

The postponement was confirmed by producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in September. He assured fans that the additional time would help the team complete the ambitious project and described it as a “next-level” film, saying audiences have not seen Prabhas in such a grand avatar since Baahubali.

Now, attention has shifted to October 23, Prabhas’ 47th birthday. While there is no official announcement yet, reports and industry buzz suggest that the makers could unveil a special “World of Fauzi” teaser or glimpse on the occasion. Reports indicate that the video could introduce the world of the film and offer a look at Prabhas’ character. However, this remains unconfirmed by the production team.

The anticipation has also increased after a video clip reportedly surfaced online following an accidental Instagram Story upload by Prabhas. The clip was deleted shortly afterwards, and the makers have not officially confirmed whether it was an authentic glimpse from the film.

Fauzi is set against the backdrop of colonial India in the 1940s and combines war, action, patriotism and human emotions. The film stars Imanvi as the female lead, with Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, Anupam Kher and Chaitra J. Achar among the supporting cast.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar, the film features music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. With its release now pushed to 2027, fans are hoping that Prabhas’ birthday finally brings the long-awaited official glimpse.
