First He Cheats, Then Calls: Old Video Shows Siya Abusing on Phone While Partying
An old video of Siya Goyal, the prime accused in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, has surfaced online, showing her holding a beer bottle at a pub while engaging in a heated phone call during which she is heard abusing the person on the other end. The clip, allegedly captioned "Pehle cheat karta hai" , shows Siya speaking on the phone amid loud music and disco lights at the venue, with the exact date and location of the recording still unknown.
The video was shared on social media on Wednesday, with Mumbai-based journalist Rahul Kulkarni posting it on X, adding that Ketan's family had allegedly hidden several aspects of Siya's lifestyle from them. It is the latest in a string of old videos and clips resurfacing as the investigation into Ketan Agarwal's death continues, with previous viral footage showing Siya and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary hugging during a café meeting weeks before the alleged murder.
The fresh clip comes days after Ketan's mother publicly claimed she had explicitly told Siya that alcohol consumption would not be permitted in her household. According to the grieving mother, Siya continued to drink regardless, and her parents were reportedly aware of this but concealed it from the Agarwal family ahead of the wedding. These claims have added further fuel to the public narrative already swirling around the case on social media.
Ketan Agarwal, a 26-year-old realtor from a prominent business family, died after being pushed off a cliff at Lohagad Fort near Pune. Police allege Siya and Chetan conspired to kill him because she wanted to avoid the marriage, though investigators have admitted there remains no direct evidence establishing exactly who pushed him. Both accused have been arrested, and the case continues to be built primarily on circumstantial and digital evidence .
Authorities have not indicated that the newly surfaced pub video establishes any wrongdoing connected to the murder itself. It remains, at this stage, only a piece of viral content feeding an already intense social media frenzy around the case, one that has included everything from crime scene recreations to a disturbing trend of some users defending or even celebrating Siya's alleged actions.
