
Former Maoist Senior Leaders Meet CM Revanth Reddy
Former Maoist senior leaders Tippiri Tirupati alias Devji and Malla Rajireddy , along with four others who recently surrendered and joined the mainstream, met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the State Secretariat on Friday.
The group, led by Devji, had surrendered before the police on February 24 . They attended the meeting to discuss the rehabilitation programmes being provided by the government.
Those who met the Chief Minister included Pulluri Prasad Rao (Chandranna), Pothula Kalpana (Sujatha), Bade Chokkarao (Damodar), and Noone Narasimha Reddy (Ganganna). Also present were government advisers K. Keshava Rao and Vem Narender Reddy , Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao , Director General of Police Shivdhar Reddy , Intelligence ADG Vijay Kumar , and SIB IG Sumathi .
The government formally welcomed the former Maoist leaders who have renounced violence and joined the mainstream.
