Stunt director and body double Geeta Tandon has alleged that she and her son were made to wait for nearly nine hours on the sets of actor Anil Kapoor -hosted reality show India Ke Top 1%, prompting an apology from the veteran actor and filmmaker Farah Khan.

Tandon, who has worked in the film and television industry for over two decades, shared her experience in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, tagging Kapoor, Khan and Banijay Asia, the production company behind the show.

She said she was invited to appear as a guest along with her son on Tuesday and agreed to participate without payment, believing the appearance could offer her some visibility. She also called her son from Goa specifically for the shoot.

According to Tandon, they reached the sets at 12.30 pm and were told that her segment would be filmed within a few hours. However, she alleged that they were made to wait in a tent without proper communication or even basic hospitality.

Tandon said she eventually confronted the production team over the delay and the lack of respect for their time. She further alleged that the production manager, identified as Jaydeep, told her that they could leave but could not do so without signing a document.

She and her son finally left the sets at 9.15 pm.

Responding to her post, Kapoor apologised, saying he was saddened by the experience and that everyone associated with the show deserved to be treated with dignity and respect.

Khan also expressed regret, saying she was unaware that Tandon and her son had been waiting as she was shooting the second episode in the evening.

Tandon accepted both apologies and thanked the actors for acknowledging her concerns.

She has worked as a body double for several leading actresses, including Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
