
Gujarat CM Invites US Investors To Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a series of meetings with industry leaders, entrepreneurs and members of the Indian diaspora in New York and New Jersey, focusing on strengthening trade, investment and technology partnerships between Gujarat and the United States.
Patel, who arrived in New York on Wednesday after visiting Washington DC, met industry representatives, business executives and elected officials during his engagements in the two states.
The Consulate General of India in New York organised an interaction between Patel and representatives of the gems and jewellery sector from New York and New Jersey. Participants, including members of the Saurashtra Diamond Association, discussed opportunities to expand trade and investment, address sectoral issues and strengthen India US commercial ties.
A separate roundtable with young entrepreneurs and business leaders was held in New Jersey, where Edison Mayor Sam Joshi and Parsippany Troy Hills Mayor Pulkit Desai also met Patel. The discussions explored opportunities to deepen entrepreneurship, investment and business linkages across diverse sectors.
In New York, the Indian Consulate, in partnership with the US India Strategic Partnership Forum, hosted Patel for discussions with institutional investors, financial institutions and manufacturing industry leaders.
The interaction highlighted Gujarat’s manufacturing ecosystem, infrastructure, FinTech capabilities and investment opportunities, along with its growing strengths across key sectors. Participants explored avenues for greater investment, technology partnerships and deeper business engagement between Gujarat and the US.
Patel also invited investors and industry leaders to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 and explore new partnership and investment opportunities in the state.
Another interaction with industry experts and senior executives from the Global Capability Centre (GCC) sector focused on Gujarat’s expanding GCC ecosystem, talent pool and capabilities in technology, innovation and digital services.
The discussions explored opportunities for global companies to invest and partner with Gujarat, while highlighting the growing role of GCCs in strengthening India US economic and technology ties.
The engagements are part of Gujarat’s efforts to attract investment, expand international business partnerships and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
