Music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar has sparked excitement among fans by teasing a major update for actor Suriya ’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya 46 .

Taking to social media, Prakash wrote, “Cooking for S46. We are coming soon. Updates soon,” tagging director Venky Atluri and Suriya. The post immediately triggered speculation among fans about a possible title announcement, first single release, or teaser launch.

The bilingual family entertainer features Suriya alongside Mamitha Baiju, Raveena Tandon, and Radhika Sarathkumar. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film wrapped up shooting late last year and is expected to hit theatres around July or August 2026 , followed by a digital premiere on Netflix .

G.V. Prakash Kumar is among the most prominent composers in South Indian cinema, having scored music for several successful Telugu and Tamil films . He began his career under the mentorship of legendary composer A. R. Rahman , serving as a singer and keyboard programmer in Rahman’s team. Prakash, who is Rahman’s nephew, has often credited him as a key influence in shaping his musical journey.
