Hyderabad Police have arrested six people for allegedly promoting an illegal inter-state money circulation scheme through IGNITE and its Indian front company, Indi Konnect Ventures Pvt Ltd , under the guise of direct selling and multi-level marketing (MLM).

Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar said the accused, from Kerala, West Bengal, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, were arrested in connection with three FIRs registered in the city. The arrested individuals include an IGNITE recruiter and two directors of Indi Konnect Ventures.

According to investigators, IGNITE is allegedly the latest avatar of Gold Quest, QuestNet and QNet , entities that have faced thousands of complaints and legal cases across India. While the network claimed to sell wellness and dietary products, police allege its primary focus was recruiting new members in exchange for commissions and rewards.

Three victims in Hyderabad reportedly paid between ₹61,639 and ₹63,899 each after being enrolled in the scheme. Investigators found that all payments were transferred to the same bank account. Victims were allegedly told they could obtain refunds only by recruiting two additional members or maintaining USD 200 in an IGNITE e-wallet, a condition police say reflects a prohibited money circulation model.

Police further revealed that Indi Konnect Ventures was incorporated in Chandigarh on May 18, while its website domain was registered days earlier, indicating a planned operation with extensive Indian links. Authorities suspect the involvement of an international financial network and are tracing fund flows into IGNITE-linked accounts.

The case underscores growing concerns over financial frauds, illegal investment schemes and pyramid-style marketing networks that promise quick earnings while relying on recruitment. Police said the investigation is ongoing, with more arrests likely and overseas suspects being pursued through international cooperation channels.
