HYDRA Launches Official Portal, Brings Civic Services Under One Platform

The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) has launched its official web portal, bringing information on civic services, disaster response, water bodies and other key activities onto a single digital platform.

HYDRA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath formally launched the portal on Friday. The website, hydraa.telangana.gov.in, is designed to give citizens easier access to information and services related to the agency's work, including emergency assistance, weather updates, lakes and water bodies, land records and disaster management.

The portal provides details of lake boundaries, canals and government lands under HYDRA's jurisdiction, along with information on disaster response measures and various field-level initiatives undertaken by the agency.

A 24-hour helpline, 1070, has been prominently featured on the website for emergency assistance. Citizens can use the number to report incidents such as fallen trees, fire accidents, waterlogging on roads, floods and other situations requiring immediate response.

The portal also integrates Fire Safety NOC services, allowing building owners and developers to submit applications online and track their status. Officials can review and process applications through a dedicated dashboard, helping streamline the approval process.

Weather and flood-related information is another major feature of the portal. Citizens can access maps showing waterlogging and flood-prone areas across the GHMC, CMC and MMC commissionerates. Live rainfall maps, daily rainfall data, weather forecasts and information from the Hyderabad Doppler Radar have also been made available.

The website provides direct access to the HMDA lakes portal, along with information on Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zones of water bodies. A link to the Telangana government's Bhu Bharati portal has also been provided to help citizens access land records.

The portal further showcases lakes restored by HYDRA, conservation initiatives and field activities, besides carrying official announcements, press releases, news updates, photographs and videos. Dedicated sections for news and latest updates have been created to keep citizens informed about the agency's activities.
