Indore’s Plast Pack 2026 Bets on Green Packaging, AI Recycling and MSME Growth
Plast Pack 2026, a four-day exhibition covering plastics, packaging and recycling, will be held at Labh Ganga Exhibition Centre in Indore from November 27 to 30. Organisers expect more than 200,000 visitors.
The Indian Plast Pack Forum is organising the event with support from the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). More than 450 exhibitors and 500 stalls are expected, featuring national and international companies.
Projected attendance exceeds the approximately 75,000 trade visitors reported for the 2025 edition. The 2026 figure is an organisers’ estimate; actual attendance will be known after the exhibition.
The fifth edition will showcase sustainable packaging and recycling technologies, including compostable plastics, water-soluble films and artificial intelligence-based recycling plants. Machinery and other solutions for manufacturers and packaging businesses are also expected to feature.
The exhibition will provide a platform for companies, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), startups and investors to explore business opportunities, technology and partnerships. Organisers have linked the event to investment and industrial development in Madhya Pradesh.
Multinational companies and public-sector enterprises, including Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and GAIL, are expected to participate. Their presence will bring businesses from different parts of the plastics and packaging supply chain together.
A job fair for young professionals and sessions for startups are also planned. The programme is intended to connect jobseekers with employers and give emerging businesses opportunities to engage with industry participants.
The event will feature products and technologies related to waste reduction, recycling and alternative packaging materials. Compostable plastics and water-soluble films will be showcased alongside technologies designed to process plastic waste.
Organisers have described the 2026 edition as an expansion of the previous exhibition. They have not announced a verified target for business generated at the upcoming event.
Plast Pack 2026 will run for four days in Indore, bringing exhibitors, industry representatives and prospective buyers together for displays, networking and business discussions. The programme will also include practical sessions focused on startup development and adoption of new technologies across the sector.
