IYC Launches ‘Gen Z Ka Panja’ Campaign, Demands Resignation Of Dharmendra Pradhan
The Indian Youth Congress on Monday launched a nationwide campaign titled “Gen Z Ka Panja”, calling for youth mobilisation over repeated examination paper leak allegations and demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to a party statement, the campaign aims to bring together students, first-time voters, young professionals and content creators through social media outreach and peaceful public participation. It focuses on raising concerns over alleged examination irregularities and unemployment.
IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib said the organisation has been protesting since May 13 across multiple cities, alleging that the government has failed to act despite repeated complaints regarding paper leaks and exam-related issues.
He further alleged that the Centre has not taken accountability for the situation and instead protected the minister concerned, despite rising public dissatisfaction among students.
Under the campaign, participants are encouraged to share short videos on paper leaks and unemployment, post placards on social media, and engage in peaceful interactions with BJP representatives, including seeking responses on the issue of accountability. The initiative also urges supporters to question party leaders at public events and amplify demands through coordinated online engagement.
The organisation stated that the objective of the campaign is to restore trust in the examination system, protect merit, and ensure students’ futures are not affected by administrative lapses.
