Jai Ho at the Border! A R Rahman Set to Perform at Attari Border in Tribute to BSF

Oscar and Grammy winning composer A R Rahman is set to perform at the Attari Border in a special musical tribute dedicated to the Border Security Force (BSF) , blending cinema, patriotism, and live performance in a unique event titled Jai Ho - A Tribute to the Bravehearts .

The performance will take place on Sunday during the ceremonial parade at the JCP Stadium, Attari Border in Punjab , between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. The event is being organised by the team behind director Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga , and is being described as a first of its kind tribute honouring the personnel who guard India’s borders.

Alongside A R Rahman , the event will feature director Imtiaz Ali , actor Vedang Raina , and singers Mohit Chauhan , Pooja Tiwari , and Nargis , all associated with the film’s musical journey. Representatives from producers Birla Studios, Applause Entertainment, and Mohit Choudhary will also be present at the event.

The film Main Vaapas Aaunga stars Diljit Dosanjh , Sharvari Wagh , and Naseeruddin Shah , alongside Vedang Raina. It marks another creative reunion of Rahman, Imtiaz Ali, and lyricist Irshad Kamil , a trio known for acclaimed collaborations in films like Rockstar , Tamasha , and Amar Singh Chamkila .

Described as a story of love and longing, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on June 12, while the Attari Border performance aims to set the tone with a powerful patriotic musical celebration dedicated to the BSF .
