Telangana Endowments Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Sunday launched a series of development works worth ₹30.32 crore in Bhainsa of Nirmal district, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to strengthening urban infrastructure and improving basic civic amenities.

During his visit, the Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple civic projects aimed at upgrading the town’s infrastructure and public services. He also distributed house ownership documents and keys to beneficiaries of newly constructed 440 double-bedroom houses , marking a significant milestone in the government’s housing programme. Several families expressed happiness at finally receiving secure shelter under the scheme.

The Minister reiterated that providing dignified housing for every eligible poor family remains a top priority. He added that preparations for the second phase of the Indiramma housing scheme are also progressing, which will further expand access to affordable housing across the region.

A major highlight of the visit was the launch of water infrastructure upgrades under the AMRUT scheme , with works valued at ₹28.18 crore . These projects include the modernisation of the town’s drinking water supply system and the laying of new pipelines. Officials said the initiative is expected to ensure long-term resolution of drinking water shortages in Bhainsa.

In addition, the Minister performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the ₹2.14 crore restoration of the Mahadevpur tank , a key water body in the town. The restoration is expected to improve groundwater recharge and contribute to better water sustainability in the region.

Jupally Krishna Rao stated that once these projects are completed, Bhainsa will see a significant improvement in water availability and civic infrastructure , benefiting residents for years to come. He assured that there would be no shortage of funds for development works and that the government would extend full support to local authorities.

He also addressed concerns related to those affected by the Polsikar Rangarao project, assuring that the government would take steps to ensure fair compensation and justice for displaced families.

Reiterating the government’s stance, the Minister emphasized transparency in welfare delivery and said strict measures are being taken to ensure that all eligible citizens receive benefits without corruption or delay.
