Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 to hit theatres again in January 2026
Kapil Sharma’s comedy entertainer Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 , which originally released on December 12, is all set for a theatrical re-release in January 2026 . The move comes after the film’s initial run was affected by limited screen availability and stiff competition at the box office.
The makers explained that although the film received warm audience responses and positive critic reviews, its theatrical run was impacted because multiplexes were occupied by other big releases, limiting the number of screens for Kapil’s comedy. The film opened with around ₹1.85 crore on day one and has so far collected over ₹12 crore domestically. Producer Ratan Jain decided on the re-release to give more viewers the chance to enjoy the movie and relive the franchise’s charm.
“Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 managed to make audiences laugh and entertain even with limited screens,” the official statement read. “Keeping the ongoing excitement of fans in mind, we are bringing the film back to theatres in January 2026.” The exact re-release date will be announced soon.
Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the comedy-drama stars Kapil Sharma alongside Ayesha Khan, Manjot Singh, Parul Gulati, Tridha Choudhury, and Hira Warina , who bring plenty of energy and humor to the sequel. Fans can look forward to Kapil juggling marital chaos, delivering classic slapstick, and reliving the franchise’s signature comedic timing.
Despite a crowded December release and stiff competition, social media chatter and fan reactions highlighted that audiences still enjoyed the film’s light-hearted humour and feel-good entertainment . With the January window, producers hope the film will have a clearer run on more screens and reach a wider audience eager for laughter.
