Kishan Reddy Flags Off 32nd Akhanda Jyoti Yatra from Barkatpura

Barkatpura in the city was immersed in a spiritual fervour as the 32nd Akhanda Jyoti Yatra of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy commenced with great grandeur on Sunday morning from Yadadri Bhavan . Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy flagged off the yatra.

The surrounding areas of Barkatpura reverberated with chants of “Jai Narasimha” as a large number of devotees participated in the spiritual procession, which will proceed from Hyderabad to the sacred shrine of Yadadri. Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the yatra, Kishan Reddy expressed hope that with the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, all people would prosper with happiness, peace and well-being. The Jyoti Yatra, which has been continuing uninterrupted for over three decades, has become a special annual event for devotees of Yadadri.
