Madanapalle Horror Deepens as Key Acccused Found Dead

The brutal rape and murder of a minor girl in Neerugattuvaaripalli village of Madanapalle mandal in Annamayya district had already sparked statewide outrage. In a shocking new development, the prime accused in the case, Kulavardhan, was found dead in a pond on Wednesday morning, triggering fresh controversy. Background of the Crime

Police launched an intensive search after receiving information about the girl’s disappearance. Acting on suspicion, officers broke open the door of Kulavardhan’s house and found him inside. Meanwhile, the girl’s body was discovered in a water drum beside the house, plunging the community into grief and shock.

Villagers’ Anger, Police Intervention

After news of the body’s recovery spread, over 50 villagers gathered at the scene. Enraged residents attempted to attack the accused. As tensions escalated, police swiftly intervened and moved him from the area in a Rakshak vehicle for his protection.

The funeral of the young victim was held on Wednesday morning at her native village Ragimanudinnepalli in Veeraballi mandal of Kadapa district. Relatives, locals, and TDP leaders from Annamayya and Kadapa districts attended the last rites. The area was filled with grief as mourners bid an emotional farewell. Heavy police security was deployed to prevent any untoward incidents.

Before the funeral rites, the accused Kulavardhan was found dead in the Karasanivaripalli pond in Annamayya district. Acting on information from locals, Mudivedu police reached the spot and began an investigation. Police suspect suicide.
