Mega DSC Is a Scam, Not a Recruitment Drive: Alur MLA Virupakshi
A controversy has intensified around the state’s Mega DSC recruitment drive , with YSRCP MLA from Alur, B. Virupakshi, alleging serious irregularities and lack of transparency in the selection process.
Speaking at a press meet in Alur, he accused the coalition government of turning the recruitment exercise intended to fill teaching posts into what he described as a flawed and manipulated process . He alleged that question paper leaks , data manipulation , and irregular handling of merit lists had compromised the credibility of the examination.
Virupakshi questioned the cancellation of the earlier DSC notification issued under the previous government and its replacement with a fresh notification, claiming it was done for publicity rather than fairness. He also raised concerns over the secrecy surrounding selection lists, alleging that they were not publicly displayed and that only selected candidates were informed directly.
He further pointed to what he called unusual administrative changes in the education department, including the replacement of the TET convenor during the recruitment process. The MLA also alleged irregularities in sports quota appointments , claiming that fake certificates and unofficial negotiations were being used to secure posts.
Calling the entire process a “Mega Leak, Mega Corruption” instead of a genuine recruitment drive, Virupakshi demanded accountability from the Chief Minister and sought the removal of the Education Minister. He also called for a CBI inquiry to ensure a fair investigation and justice for deserving candidates.
