"Mirzapur: The Movie" Unveils "Do Numbari" as Dhanda Nyoliwala Debuts in Bollywood

The makers of "Mirzapur: The Movie" have unveiled "Do Numbari," the first song from the film's soundtrack, officially launching the movie's music campaign ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on September 4, 2026.

The high-energy track is composed, written, and sung by Haryanvi music sensation Dhanda Nyoliwala, marking his official Bollywood music debut. The release also marks a major milestone for Excel Entertainment, as "Do Numbari" becomes the first-ever song released under Excel Music, the production house's newly launched in-house music label.

Known for his chart-topping Haryanvi hits, Dhanda Nyoliwala brings his signature style and energetic sound to the gritty world of "Mirzapur: The Movie," offering audiences their first musical glimpse into the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation.

Announcing the release, the makers said the song marks the beginning of the soundtrack campaign for one of the year's most awaited films. They also described Dhanda Nyoliwala's Bollywood debut and the launch of Excel Music as significant milestones for the project.

The film adapts the hugely popular "Mirzapur" franchise for cinemas, taking audiences back to the crime-filled world introduced in the first season. It brings back fan-favourite characters, including Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), and Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu).

The ensemble cast also features Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S. Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, the film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers.

"Mirzapur: The Movie" is slated for a worldwide release in Hindi and Telugu on September 4, 2026, while the official trailer will be unveiled on August 11, offering fans their first extended look at the cinematic adaptation of the acclaimed franchise.
