Vijayawada and Guntur are likely to see hot and humid conditions alongside isolated thunderstorms . Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam face a forecast of hot and humid weather on June 7, with thunderstorms , lightning , and gusty winds reaching 40 to 50 kmph also in the outlook. Visakhapatnam , benefiting from Bay of Bengal moisture, is looking at highs around 32 to 35°C with a reasonable chance of pre-monsoon showers . The southwest monsoon officially entered Kerala on June 4 and has since advanced into parts of Andhra Pradesh as of June 6, with conditions favourable for further progression into Telangana shortly after.
