Nani-starrer ‘The Paradise’ will hit theatres worldwide on September 24, 2026, with the makers officially reconfirming the release date on Monday, putting an end to recent speculation that the much-awaited action drama could be postponed.

The latest confirmation comes after reports suggested that the film could be pushed to October 1 because of pending VFX and technical work, particularly the CG-heavy climax. Trade reports had also raised questions over whether the team could complete the remaining work in time. However, the makers have now reiterated that the film remains on track for its September 24 theatrical release.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously collaborated with Nani on the successful ‘Dasara’, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

Set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad, ‘The Paradise’ follows a marginalised tribal community facing discrimination and fighting for recognition and citizenship. Nani plays Jadal, a rugged and fierce leader who rises against an oppressive system. Raghav Juyal plays the antagonist Vikram Maalik, while Mohan Babu portrays Shikanja Maalik. The cast also includes Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu, Tanikella Bharani and Eeshwari Rao, with Keerthy Suresh making a special appearance.

The film is planned as a multilingual release, with reports listing Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English and Spanish among the languages. However, speculation that the Hindi version could be delayed has surfaced because promotions for the North Indian market have reportedly not begun. The makers have not officially confirmed a separate Hindi postponement.

The promotional campaign has already generated considerable attention, with the teaser highlighting Nani’s intense transformation and the film’s dark world of rebellion, violence, identity and social conflict. Songs including ‘Aaya Sher’ and ‘Yeshanagula’ have further raised expectations.

With the release date now officially reaffirmed, ‘The Paradise’ is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 24, marking one of Nani’s most ambitious projects to date.
