NxtGen, an Indian provider of cloud, AI infrastructure and managed services, has been named an OpenAI Select Partner under the OpenAI Partner Network, a global programme designed to help organisations build, deploy and deliver AI solutions.

Through the partnership, NxtGen will support Indian enterprises in adopting and scaling AI responsibly, helping them translate experimentation into practical applications and measurable business outcomes. The company will focus on architecture, security, access controls, auditability and local operational support, enabling businesses to integrate advanced AI into complex workflows.

As part of these efforts, NxtGen plans to introduce SpeedCode, an India-focused coding agent owned by the company and built using the open-source Codex CLI and OpenAI models accessed through an API. The tool is designed to help engineering teams convert defined software tasks into scoped, tested and reviewable code changes while keeping developers in control.

NxtGen also plans to conduct a controlled pilot of SpeedCode, allowing customers to evaluate its performance before considering wider adoption. The assessment will cover accepted engineering work, completion time, code quality and cost to determine its practical value for software development teams.

A S Rajgopal, Managing Director and CEO of NxtGen, said Indian enterprises need access to advanced AI alongside the governance, local operational capabilities and accountability required to use it effectively. He added that the partnership would help the company bring these elements together as customers move towards practical AI applications.

NxtGen provides cloud computing, data centre services, AI infrastructure, cyber resilience and managed services. Its AI portfolio integrates GPU platforms from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, offering businesses options to develop enterprise AI applications.

The company operates SpeedCloud, a public cloud platform, SpeedCloud Supreme, an alternative to private cloud, and industry-specific cloud services for government and financial services organisations.

NxtGen says it serves more than 1,000 customers across India and aims to make cloud and AI technologies accessible to enterprises of different sizes through performance-focused and cost-effective solutions.
